Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actress who is most well-known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was created by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk both were scholars. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She is director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of the earliest moments of her childhood, like attending rehearsals and watching of shows. Silk starred in numerous commercials for children. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to pursue her acting career in order to progress, and then moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first discovered at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. The couple was engaged in 2009 and were married in an unofficial ceremony in was held in December. In Fredericton on April 10, 2011, they renewed vows following her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk was expecting while filming the final episode of the third series. The actress announced her pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special on January 6, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th, 2013 that the series was returning in production. Fourth season premiered on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN named Bo's portrayal alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular television couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple for the year 2013.
